Finding your Joie de Vivre

There was a news story earlier this week about the possibility of earth having two suns for a brief period of time. This is stuff of science fiction movies, of the future. Happenings that impact us all in a magical and somewhat mysterious way may be our saving grace, because for some reason the majority of earthlings have discounted the magic all around them and felt they somehow could do better.

It snowed here yesterday and the snow is bright white, the sky a stunning beautiful blue, the air, crisp. When I let my dogs out this morning they were both overjoyed with the quality of the day, displaying a noticeable skip to their gate as they pranced into it.

Mr. Cardinal has shown his Mrs. the new safe place I’ve created for them to dine. They award me with their presence. Life in the valley is filled with the cheer of the day.

I’m listening to a composer friend of mine, Anne Leader. Anne is tapped into the beauty of life and her music perfectly mirrors the sentiment of the day.

So while I do hope I get to see two suns in our fair sky in my lifetime, the very idea of it has reminded me of the magic in our every day. My wish for you is that you will stop and take notice, and remember perhaps why we’ve chosen to continue life on this planet for the past several thousand years, despite the obvious challenges of living.

May we all find a certain Joie de Vivre as we embark on the new week on this, our spectacular Planet Earth.

You were mentioned in my dream again last night. I dreamed I was standing in front of this big computer and the computer had instructions for you. The instructions are, you are to fold the universe around you like a big fluffy blanket. Yoko Ono smiled and nodded in approval. Maybe that relates to Finding your Joie de Vivre somehow.
